Bereaved Israelis and Palestinians Unite at NYU to Share Their Powerful Personal Stories and Call For Peace

What: NYU will host the Parents Circle - Families Forum (PCFF) event, "Shared Grief, Shared Hope: Holding onto Humanity," which brings together in peaceful dialogue Israeli and Palestinian families who have lost immediate family members to the ongoing conflict.

By sharing their personal tragedies together, the PCFF families exemplify our common humanity and desire for peace. Their ongoing dialogue amidst tragedy and grief holds lessons for all communities - such as college campuses - struggling to maintain reasoned, respectful discourse about the Israel/Gaza conflict.

When: Tuesday, September 17, 2024, 5:30 p.m.

Where: The Grand Hall, 5th floor
Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life
New York University
238 Thompson St, New York, NY 10012

Who: Members of the Parents Circle-Family Forum, including event speakers Robi Damelin, Layla Alsheikh, Yonatan Zeigen, and Arab Aramin will be available for interviews.
