Officer Abigal Villafane of the Tomball Police Department was honored as Public Safety Officer of the Month at the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce's First Friday Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 1. This recognition comes just before her one-year anniversary with the department on Nov. 13.
Officer Villafane's service to Tomball has been marked by exceptional dedication to public safety. In the past year, she has made ten DWI arrests and earned recognition from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for her commitment to preventing impaired driving in the community. Her accomplishments underscore her steadfast commitment to law enforcement and the safety of Tomball residents.
In addition to her role with the Tomball Police Department, Officer Villafane brings a rich background of service and devotion to her work. As an Army veteran, she exemplifies dedication to public service, a commitment she balances with her roles as a mother and wife. Her dedication to both her profession and her family has made her an invaluable asset to the community.
