Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects

SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Sept. 5. Contracts included pavement repairs on several routes.

Contracts included the following:

• A $468,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for asphalt repairs on Route K from east of Interstate 55 to Route 61, and on Route 61 from Route K to west of Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County.
• A $1,665,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for resurfacing the following routes:
  • Route H from Route DD to Route 67 in St. Francois and Madison Counties,
  • Route KK from Route 51 to Route B in Perry, Bollinger and Cape Girardeau Counties, and;
  • Route KK from Route E to the end of state maintenance in Madison County.
• A $68,500 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for pavement repairs on Interstate 55 one half a mile south of Route AB in Scott County.
