RCMP seeking public's help following theft

The Campbellton RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify a person of interest following a theft in Atholville, N.B.

The theft is believed to have occurred on August 20, 2024, at approximately 4 a.m., at a business on Notre-Dame Street, in Atholville.

The individual arrived on an all-terrain-vehicle (ATV), took a six-foot stainless steal patio heater, mounted it to the ATV, and left the scene. The heater was later recovered on Vanier Street, in Campbellton.

Police are releasing photos of the individual and the ATV in hopes that someone may recognize them or the ATV. At the time of the theft, the individual was wearing a blue jacket, orange rain pants and a black and blue ATV helmet.

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photo, who lives in the area and witnessed suspicious activity during the time of the theft, or who has information that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact the Campbellton RCMP at 506-789-6000.
