GeoPark celebrates the recognition of two women leaders for their outstanding work

Leading independent Latin American energy company GeoPark proudly celebrates the acknowledgement of two outstanding women in its leadership team by being included in nationally and internationally recognized rankings for their influence and professional contributions.

Marcela Vaca, a member of the GeoPark Board of Directors and the Chair of the SPEED/Sustainability Committee, featured in Bloomberg Linea's prestigious 'The 500 Most Influential People in Latin America' for the fourth time. This year the ranking acknowledges 57 Colombians, including entrepreneurs, scientists, artists and social leaders who have made a transformative impact in their respective sectors.

GeoPark Strategy, Sustainability and Legal Director Monica Jimenez was included in the GC Powerlist Colombia 2024 for the third year in succession. The ranking by British firm The Legal 500 identifies the most influential legal professionals in Colombia for their leadership, strategic vision and contributions to the private sector.

These honors show how women continue to break down barriers and leave an indelible mark on the energy industry. GeoPark is proud to have these distinguished women in its leadership team and underscores its commitment to gender equality, which is fundamental to business success and fairer work environments.
