Media literacy is a necessary skill, yet many people - including students - struggle to develop and keep current their knowledge to combat misinformation and disinformation or simply to navigate through the slew of marketing messages directed at us every day. Media literacy is an expanded definition of literacy that includes the ability to access and analyze media messages as well as create, reflect, and take action, using the power of information and communication to make a difference in the world.
