Lyon Real Estate’s Annual Coat Drive Kicks Off October 1st, 2024
As the days grow shorter and the chill of winter approaches, we all know the comfort of slipping into a thick, warm coat. However, many in our community lack the essential warmth of winter attire. To help, Lyon Real Estate is proud to host its 14th annual "Coats for Our Community" Winter Coat Drive, uniting our agents, staff, and community to bring warmth to those in need across the Greater Sacramento region.
Since 2010, we have donated an incredible 105,413 winter clothing items-and we're not stopping there. Throughout the month of October,Lyon's 14 local offices, along with our dedicated real estate agents, will be collecting new and gently used coats and winter clothing to benefit individuals and families in Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, and El Dorado counties.
With the support of our community, we've been able to distribute thousands of items each year-coats, scarves, mittens, hoodies, fleece, hats, and more-to various local nonprofits and organizations. We welcome donations of all sizes, for all ages and genders, from infants to adults. Every item counts in helping us bring warmth and comfort to those who need it most this winter.
It's truly inspiring to see the unwavering commitment and kindness of our community as we come together once again for Lyon's annual coat drive. Providing warmth to those in need during the colder months is more than just an act of giving-it's a reflection of the deep care we have for one another," said Lyon Real Estate President and CEO Pat Shea.
