Transform 285/400: Continuous Weekend Closures for Bridge Asphalt Overlay Work Begins September 20
WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) contractors will implement a continuous weekend closure and detour for the SR 400 southbound ramp to I-285 eastbound beginning Friday, Sept. 20, at 9 p.m. through Monday, Sept. 23, at 5 a.m. This work will return Friday, Sept. 27, through Monday, Sept. 30, on the I-285 eastbound ramp to Glenridge Drive, SR 400 northbound, and SR 400 southbound.
An additional closure of one, left lane on SR 400 southbound connecting lanes to I-285 eastbound at Perimeter Center Parkway will also be implemented Thursday, Sept. 19, at 9 p.m. to Friday, Sept. 20, at 9 p.m.
There will also be a daytime closure of one, left lane on I-285 eastbound connecting lanes from Roswell Road to SR 400 on Friday, Sept. 27.
These closure periods for bridge asphalt overlay are part of the punch list for the Transform 285/400 project now fully open to traffic.

Motorists traveling on SR 400 southbound to I-285 eastbound should use Exit 4A, I-285 westbound and Exit 25 Roswell Road to access I-285 eastbound.

Motorists traveling on I-285 eastbound to SR 400 northbound or southbound (incl. Glenridge Connector) should use Exit 29 Ashford Dunwoody Road and I-285 westbound to access Exit 27 SR 400 northbound or southbound (or Glenridge Connector).
