Parkwood Area Lift Station Consolidation Project

For the next two weeks Carolina Civilworks, Inc. (Contractor) will continue to mobilize equipment at the Parkwood Lift Station site off of Grandale Drive. The Contractor will also continue clearing operations and installation of erosion/tree protection fencing along the gravity sewer easement behind Newhall Road, Pendleton Court, and Elmset Lane. This work will include installation of construction entrances at Elmset Lane and Newhall Drive to facilitate material deliveries. The Contractor will monitor for mud on the roads at these entrances and act to remove mud from the area.

The Contractor has also begun excavation of pits for trenchless installation of the sewer under the creek just east of the Parkwood Lift Station.

General work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. The contractor will not be working on Thanksgiving, November 28, 2024, nor Friday, November 29, 2024.
