TYLENOL® commits $1 million to support injured athletes over next three years

SKILLMAN, N.J. - Sept. 17, 2024 - TYLENOL®, the #1 doctor recommended pain relief brand is sponsoring the Women's Sports Foundation to launch the 'Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant' as part of the TYLENOL® Greatness Hurts campaign.

What
TYLENOL® is committing $1,000,000 in funding over the next three years to help athletes recover from injury and compete once again, starting this year by sponsoring the Women's Sports Foundation ® (WSF®). The WSF's 'Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant' aims to help women athletes overcome pain and recover from setbacks to their career caused by injury, ultimately helping them achieve their career goals.

Now through October 18, 2024, elite women athletes1 who have experienced an injury that altered their career trajectory are encouraged to apply for the grant to receive up to $10,000to supplement the financial burden caused by medical bills and injury rehabilitation.

The TYLENOL® Greatness Hurts campaign brings stories of perseverance among all types of athletes to life as they overcome physical pain with the help of TYLENOL® to get back on the field and keep chasing greatness. The grant continues the long-standing commitment of TYLENOL® to demonstrate Care Without Limits, not only providing support for the physical pain but also the mental and financial hardships women athletes face in the hopes of positively impacting the outcome of their journeys.

1The Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant provides financial support to women athletes facing loss of compensation or extensive, expensive medical bills due to injury. This grant will help elite athletes who have faced painful setbacks, have access to the resources they need to recover as they get back into the game.
