At joint sitting of NA Committees debates of draft state budget 2025 continued

On November 4, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Economic Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the allocations designed by the RA draft law On State Budget of the Republic of Armenia 2025 to the economic sphere.

The RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan informed that the 79 billion 552 million AMD was designed to the Ministry of Economy by the state budget 2025, which less by 11 billion 309 million AMD or 12.4% from the allocations of 2024. The current expenditures compared with 2024 are less by 3.2%, the capital expenditures - by 53%.

4 billion 58 million AMD was designed to the Cadastre Committee by the draft budget 2025, which is less by 9.8%, and the capital expenditures - by about 46%.

The budget of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) will be 1 billion 163 million AMD of the coming year, 4.1% increase compared with the previous year. As the key rapporteur observed, increase of 47 million AMD current costs and decrease of 1 million 735.000 AMD of capital expenditures.

594 million AMD was designed by the draft budget 2025 to the Competition Protection Commission (CPC), which less by 19.6%, than in 2024. The current costs will be less by 2 million 599.000 AMD, and capital expenditures were not designed for the Commission.

In 2025, the expenditures of the State Revenue Committee were designed in the amount of 115 billion 991 million AMD, which is more by 6 billion 552 million AMD or by 6%, than in 2024. The current costs be more by 8.6% compared with the previous year, and the capital expenditures will decrease by 27%.

289 billion 152 million AMD is designed by the draft on the transport and energy and natural resources to the Ministry of Territorial Administration, which is less by 5.9% compared with 2024. The current costs will be less by 0.2%, and the capital expe4nditures - by 5%.

The expenditures of the Urban Development Committee will be 3 billion 303 million AMD, which will be less by 35.5% compared with 2024. The current costs will be less by 1 billion 422 million AMD, and the capital expenditures - by 397 million AMD. As Vahe Hovhannisyan observed, the Uren Development Committee implements rather big amount of work and does a part of the calculated capital expenditures of different state bodies as a budget subordinate regulator.
