Netherlands American Cemetery to offer guided tours every Wednesday this summer

The ABMC staff at Netherlands American Cemetery will offer a series of tours through the cemetery and memorial every Wednesday from July 22 to Sept. 1 at 11 a.m.

Ever wondered if you are on American soil when visiting the cemetery? Do you know what the names on the walls represent? Would you like to know the stories of the men and women buried at the cemetery? These and many more of your questions will be answered during these 60-minute guided tours.

More than 8,000 WWII fallen are buried at Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, Netherlands.

Dates and times:

  • Wednesday July 31, 11:00 a.m.
  • Wednesday Aug. 7, 11:00 a.m.
  • Wednesday Aug. 14, 11:00 a.m.
  • Wednesday Aug. 21, 11:00 a.m.
  • Wednesday Aug. 28, 11:00 a.m.

Meeting point: Map Room 

These guided tours are open to all, free to attend and will be provided in Dutch and/or English depending on the visitors.

Not able to join on one of the dates or would you like to book a tour with your own group? The cemetery offers free guided tours for groups of 10 or more upon request, pending staff availability. Please note that tours should be booked at least two weeks in advance.
