Arendal townArendalsuka is the largest political gathering in Norway held annually since 2012. The event's mission is clear: strengthen the belief in political empowerment and democracy through open debate and involvement. Arendalsuka is the result of co-creation between national and local political parties, NGO's, universities, research institutions, private companies and the Municipality of Arendal, roughly over 2000 events are held in one week. It is common that even ministers and parliament members as well as the prime minister attends, and you may very well meet them in the streets and have brief conversations or meetings.
Freyr Battery has a modest representation in Arendalsuka and our part has been to contribute to enlighten audience on battery industry and the changes we see now are happening globally, creating a demand for battery solutions.

The industry is changing, everything is being digitized and everything will be online. Operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) have traditionally been separate, but must now be integrated to meet the demands of modern industry and to increase competitiveness. This is a change that is demanding both financially and structurally, and which presents a number of security challenges. At the same time, it is absolutely necessary.
With us we have representatives from Freyr Battery and Siemens, who represent both new and traditional industry, and we ask; how should businesses organize themselves to bring about this shift; and how can the public sector contribute with investments and framework conditions to drive forward the digital transformation business life in Norway is facing?
