Brown Hosts 7th Women's Leadership Summit in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH - Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH), along with several Ohio community partners, hosted the seventh Women's Leadership Summit in Cincinnati. The theme of this year's event was When Women Lead. The one-day program highlighted the good work women are doing across Ohio to uplift their communities, and provided opportunities for networking and engagement. Brown was joined by the Honorable Marcia Fudge, former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, author and Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Connie Schultz, and many other women leaders from across Ohio.

"The best ideas come from Ohioans - and Ohio women have been key to some of our best ideas and greatest accomplishments," said Brown. "We know it makes a difference not just to have women in the room where decisions are made, but women leading the conversation and leading the charge. When women have the opportunity to speak up and use their power, our state and our workplaces and our communities do better."
