Sumter County Waterways Now Open

As of Tuesday, 11/12/2024, all boat ramp access to Sumter County waterways has been restored following the closure due to flooding from Hurricane Milton. While the ramps are now open, please exercise caution as many areas still have downed trees along the river, and the land contours may have shifted.

Additionally, many of our neighbors in Sumter County are still dealing with the aftermath of flooding in their homes and properties. We ask that you be considerate and mindful of

your wake when boating, especially in residential areas, to help minimize further damage.
