Working with others in patient care, research, and teaching can contribute immensely not only to patient care but also to your own professional development.

A former SMRU Traveling Scholar, Dr. Thirumavalavan finds ASRM's practice guidelines to be an invaluable resource. He recommends working with colleagues on an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, both to better the patient experience and for professional development. At the ASRM 2024 Scientific Congress & Expo, he is excited to moderate "Reproductive considerations for men and women with chronic disease, from getting pregnant to giving birth and beyond."

Thank you to SMRU for providing this Member Spotlight.
