Tampa Police Officers are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred in the 8000 block of New Tampa Boulevard just after 2:30 pm Friday.

An adult male was located with gunshot wounds and pronounced deceased on the scene.

Shortly after, law enforcement located a vehicle involved near Bearss Avenue, with two other individuals with gunshot wounds. One person in the vehicle was pronounced deceased, and the other was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It is still early in the investigation but at this point, it appears all parties involved are known to each other and this was not a random incident. There is no threat to the public.
