Due to increased levels of waste, The City of Tampa Department of Solid Waste services are revised due to delays.
Residents may experience delays in residential garbage collection on Monday, October 14, 2024. Crews are working diligently, and service may extend as late as 8pm.
Additionally, recycling collection will be temporarily suspended on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. We encourage residents to hold onto their recyclable materials until collections resume.
Customers may experience delays or no pickups for recycling collections Monday, October 14, 2024 within the following boundaries: Columbus Dr to Country Club Dr from I-275 to Westshore Blvd.
To facilitate a smooth and efficient collection process of hurricane debris, residents are asked to adhere to the following guidelines:
Customers are encouraged to download the Tampa Trash and Recycling app on the Apple and Google Play Stores to receive real-time updates on service schedules. NOTE: New Tampa residents are encouraged to contact Hillsborough County Solid Waste Management at (813) 272-5680 for storm debris collection schedules in their area.
