Lane closures in Bellevue begin Monday

BELLEVUE - On Monday the Idaho Transportation Department will begin a scrub coat on State Highway 75 through Bellevue. Work is expected to take through Wednesday, Oct. 9, and will cause one lane in each direction to close each day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A scrub coat is a thin overlay of asphalt to help fill cracks, pot holes and reduce maintenance costs on the roadway. While there will not be a speed reduction, drivers should anticipate some delays during commute times and be extra cautious in the area. For traffic updates go to Idaho 511.
