Labor Day Office Closures & Garbage Collection 2024

City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

The Municipal Service Center will also be closed on Monday, September 2^nd for all services, including refuse and recycling collection and bulky waste drop off. There will be no refuse and recycling collection on Monday, September 2^nd.

• Refuse/garbage normally collected on Monday will be collected on Tuesday, September 3^rd with the normal Tuesday collection. Please have your materials set out by 5:00 am on Tuesday to accommodate the additional collections. Yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours.
• Recycling collection, performed by Waste Management, will have a one-day service delay throughout the remainder of week.

The Senior Center will be closed on Monday, September 2^nd.

The Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed for Labor Day Weekend beginning Saturday, August 31^st through Monday, September 2^nd.

City Transit Buses will not operate on Monday, September 2^nd, but will resume regular routes on September 3^rd.

As always, Police and Fire Departments will be fully operational throughout the holiday period.
