Frost Brown Todd proudly announces that partner Kevin L. Colosimo received the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation's (EMLF) John L. McClaugherty Award-EMLF's highest honor-recognizing outstanding contributions to the field of energy and mineral law.

Colosimo has been a dedicated member of EMLF for over 15 years, serving in numerous leadership roles, including as the organization's president from 2020 to 2021. His leadership during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic was marked by steady decision-making and strategic planning, guiding the foundation forward.

In addition to his leadership within the foundation, Colosimo is a prolific speaker and author. At EMLF's 45th Annual Institute, he presented and moderated a panel commemorating the 20th Anniversary of Marcellus Shale exploration, providing insightful discussion on the impact of the legal profession on shale gas development in Appalachia.

Colosimo's law practice spans the areas of oil and gas law, energy law, and business, contract, and real property law. He counsels clients on a wide range of legal matters including risk management alternatives, claims assessment, and litigation strategy.
