Yorktown Boulevard Project Set to Begin

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX-Construction on Yorktown Boulevard, from Rodd Field Road to the Oso Creek Bridge, begins Wednesday, August 14. JE Construction Services of Corpus Christi is the general contractor.

This Bond 2020 project will involve improvements to pavement, curbs and gutters, and streetlights, as well as the construction of new or improved sidewalks, ADA-compliant curb ramps, signage, pavement markings, and traffic signals. In addition to surface improvements, the project includes improvements to stormwater, water, wastewater, and gas infrastructure.

The $25,500,000 project is expected to be completed by the fall of 2027.
