According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 13,794,428 tonnes of commodities and 134 vehicles valued at more than 2.6 billion USD.
On this floor the IME sold 6,482,476 tonnes of cement, 4,181,500 tonnes of iron ore, 1,781,411 tonnes of steel, 1,154,650 tonnes of sponge iron, 83,925 tonnes of zinc, 53,510 tonnes of aluminum, 43,420 tonnes of copper, 500 tonnes of metallurgical coke, 36 tonnes of precious metals concentrate and 1 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate.
Based on this report, the IME saw trade of 1.5 tonnes of saffron on its agricultural trading floor.
Moreover, the exchange saw trade of 2,037,649 tonnes of commodities worth more than 1 billion USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.
Items traded on this floor included 646,515 tonnes of bitumen, 541,550 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 414,994 tonnes of polymeric products, 188,500 tonnes of lube cut, 170,127 tonnes of chemicals, 50,245 tonnes of sulfur, 22,768 tonnes of oil, 2,050 tonnes of feedstocks and 400 tonnes of waterproofing materials.
Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 72,474 tonnes of goods.
