INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office has arrested Jacqueline A. Rock, 34, on charges of Promoting Prison Contraband in the First Degree, a Class D felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

The arrest follows an incident at the Washington County Jail where Rock, who is currently incarcerated, was found in possession of methamphetamine during a search conducted by Corrections staff.

Rock is scheduled to appear in Fort Edward Town Court on a later date.
