Fire Safety Poster Contest: Spotlight on Smoke Alarms

Cosumnes Fire is excited to announce a special Fire Safety Poster Contest for elementary school students as part of this year's Fire Prevention Week! The focus of the contest is on the importance of working smoke alarms and teaching kids fire safety basics. Participants are encouraged to create posters that answer key safety questions, like where smoke alarms should be placed, how many a home should have, and what to do when the alarm sounds.

The contest is a fun and educational way for children to engage with an important safety topic that could help save lives. The grand prize winner will have their poster proudly displayed at Cosumnes Fire Headquarters and receive a $50 gift certificate, plus a pizza party for their entire classroom!

This is a great opportunity for students to get creative, learn about fire safety, and share their knowledge with the community.
