SCDOT to close and detour Price House Road bridge over Jimmie's Creek in Spartanburg County for repairs

​Columbia, S.C. (September 17, 2024)-The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close and detour the Price House Road bridge over Jimmie's Creek in Spartanburg County for repairs beginning September 23. Repairs are expected to be finished by the end of October.

As part of this closure, a detour route will be set up. A map of the detour can be found below. Please note that Price House Road will be open to local traffic only during the repairs.

Eastbound Traffic:

Take SJ Workman Highway to Aiken Road. Turn left onto Aiken Road. Follow Aiken Road to the intersection with Cross Anchor Road . Turn left onto Cross Anchor Road and follow to the intersection with Hanna Creek Road. Turn left onto Hanna Creek Road and follow to the intersection with Price House Road. Turn left onto Price House Road.

Westbound Traffic​:

Take Price house Road to Hanna Creek Road. Turn right onto Hanna Creek Road and follow to the intersection with Cross Anchor Road. Turn right onto Cross Anchor Road and follow until the intersection with Aiken Road. Turn right onto Aiken Road and follow until the intersection with SJ Workman Highway. Turn right onto SJ Workman Highway and follow to the intersection of Price House Road. Turn right onto Price House Road.​
