Consultation on proposed Demand Side Unit electricity generation and supply licences for Veolia Energy Services NI Limited

The Utility Regulator gives Notice today of its intention to grant a modified electricity generation licence and an electricity supply licence to Veolia Energy Services NI Limited, to enable the company to operate as a Demand Side Unit Operator in the Single Electricity Market.

Under the proposed licences the company would operate a virtual power plant aggregating multiple generation and load reduction units with approximately 6MW aggregated capacity.

A copy of the proposed electricity generation and electricity supply licences accompany this Notice.
