SMUD offices closed for Independence Day
MUD offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in observance of Independence Day. Regular business and customer service lobby hours will resume on Friday, July 5.

SMUD's 24-hour electric outage number, 1-888-456-SMUD (7683), will continue operating throughout the holiday. If power goes out, customers should notify SMUD immediately. In the event of an electrical problem, customers should be prepared to give their address, phone number, nearest cross street and a brief description of the problem.
