TRAFFIC ALERT New Castle County Middletown Intersection to Close for Several Nights

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) advises motorists that the intersection of Main Street (Rt 299) and Broad Street (Rt 71) will close for several nights from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am nightly for construction. The work, which will start the week of August 4th, will consist of ADA improvements, new installation of ADA facilities and the reconstruction of the crosswalks.

This work is weather dependent. Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area.
