Get to Five-Alarm Festival on Saturday for family fun, food, safety tips

Sept. 27, 2024 - Hampton Fire & Rescue's annual Five-Alarm Festival will be Saturday, Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and features fun and fire safety information. The festival is free and takes place at Syms Middle School, 170 Foxhill Road.

For the children -- a bounce house, an obstacle course, face painting, a balloon artist, and more.

One major goal of the festival is to increase awareness of fire dangers and to promote fire safety through educational and preventive activities. Cooking is the leading cause of home fires and home injuries, followed by heating fires.
