8,000 Trees in Santa Fe

The City of Santa Fe Public Works Department and its Parks and Open Space Division have cataloged nearly 8,000 trees in city parks and open spaces, using specialized GIS-based software.

The project, begun in 2018 and led by local ISA arborist Athena Bashur, enables the Parks and Open Space team to track, care for, and manage trees within these spaces.
