TRAFFIC ALERT: Closure scheduled for Missouri Route A in Clay County, July 15-Aug. 21

CLAY COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting culvert replacement operations on Missouri Route A resulting in a complete closure at 118th Terrace starting at approximately 7 a.m. on Monday, July 15 until Wed. August 21 at 4 p.m. Motorist should seek alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
