Excessive Heat Watch Returns

Another heat wave is expected to impact our area for the next three days and residents are welcome to visit cooling centers throughout the city.

Pearl Bailey, Main Street, and Grissom Libraries
Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday, 1 - 5 p.m.

Brittingham-Midtown and Denbigh Community Centers
Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Four Oaks Day Service Center
The Four Oaks Day Service Center is open daily from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. to serve the homeless community.

During the summer heat, remember to limit outdoor activity and ensure proper hydration. Take frequent breaks if working outside and please check on friends and neighbors who are more susceptible to heat-related illnesses.
