NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The South Monmouth Regional Sewerage Authority (the Authority) recently closed on a $3.5 million loan with the NJ Water Bank to upgrade essential components of its wastewater treatment system. The project includes replacing the rotary distribution arms and guy rods on two trickling filters, as well as blasting and coating the center column assemblies. These upgrades will enhance the secondary wastewater treatment process, ensuring reliable operation and continued compliance with the Authority's NJPDES permit.
