Building a Sustainable Future for All: The Calix Commitment

Last year, I stepped into the new role of Chief Sustainability Officer, solidifying Calix's commitment to building a sustainable future for our customers and the communities they serve.

But the truth is that sustainability and purpose have been at the center of Calix's ethos since its founding 25 years ago. Calix began with the belief that we can only succeed if our customers succeed-financially, environmentally, and socially. It is who we are.

That's why we focus on technology innovation that delivers customers durable, efficient, and recyclable products and services. One of those customers, AcenTek, leveraged the energy-efficient Calix Intelligent Access foundation and Calix Unlimited Subscriber systems to reduce energy use by 73 percent in the network and 50 percent in the subscriber's home-saving money for everyone.

As Calix grows, we remain committed to addressing societal challenges and fostering the inclusive, purpose-driven culture that makes us a top employer of choice. We value all employees and celebrate their unique experiences and skills.

Almost a third of our team comprises women, with substantial representation in our leadership ranks. We are proud that employees are committed to our mission, which keeps the total turnover rate under 3 percent. We also share our experience building a winning culture with our customers to help them attract and retain the talented employees they need to thrive.

This year, we completed our first formal calculation of greenhouse gas emissions covered under the scope 1 and 2 standards. We are proud of our progress and are committed to improving these metrics as we grow.
