City of Florence Online Payments Down

The City of Florence is unable to take online payments on Friday, July 19, 2024, and until further notice. Our payment system, Tyler Technologies, along with many other organizations, has been affected by a global issue resulting from a Windows-based software content update from CrowdStrike. According to the CEO of CrowdStrike, this is not a security incident or cyberattack.

For citizens planning to log into our Utility Billing page, https://florenceor.municipalonlinepayments.com/florenceor/utilities, they will receive an error once they attempt to go to their account. The Florence Municipal Court is also unable to process payments online via https://www.ci.florence.or.us/court/pay-your-court-fine-onlineat this time.

The City of Florence is aware of this issue and Tyler Technologies is working to remedy the situation. We have not received a timeline on this fix but we will give more information as we are updated.

In the meantime, Florence City Hall, 250 Highway 101, can still accept utility, accounts receivable, and permit payments manually via cash, check, and credit card. Front desk hours today are 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. People can also put items in the drop box outside the front doors. Payments will be posted to accounts once the system returns to normality.

The City of Florence thanks you for your patience with this process.
