SAN DIEGO (DECEMBER 10, 2024) - The San Diego Unified School District Board of Education voted unanimously on Tuesday night to certify the First Interim Financial Report for the 2025-26 budget as positive, as Interim Superintendent Dr. Fabi Bagula's Administration continues to drive toward a zero projected budget deficit by June 2025.
"I appreciate the Board's support for our strategy to get the budget to zero by June of next year," said Interim Superintendent, Bagula, San Diego Unified School District. "We have a lot more work to do to get there, but I am confident we're moving in the right direction."
