Monterey Park Named a Finalist for Most Business-Friendly City Award

The City of Monterey Park is proud to announce it has been selected as a finalist for the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) 2024 Most Business-Friendly City Award. This prestigious award recognizes cities in Los Angeles County that have demonstrated outstanding efforts in supporting local businesses, fostering job creation, and promoting economic growth.

"We are thrilled to be recognized as a finalist for this prestigious award," said Monterey Park Economic Development Manager Joseph Torres. "This nomination is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our City leaders and staff, our local businesses, and the entire Monterey Park community. We are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where businesses can thrive and contribute to our City's vibrant economy."

The LAEDC selected Monterey Park as a finalist based on its commitment to streamlining business processes, enhancing economic development initiatives, and fostering a business-friendly climate.

The winner of the Most Business-Friendly City Award will be announced at the 29th Annual EDDY Awards on November 6, 2024.
