Graduation Road Closures

The streets in and around the Village will be busy this weekend as the Claremont Colleges will be holding Commencement festivities, along with the weekly Farmers Market and Mother's Day on Sunday. Plan ahead as several streets around the colleges will be temporarily closed on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 for the Pomona College Senior Class Day Parade, the Pomona College Commencement Ceremony, and the CGU Commencement Ceremony.

Below are the closure dates and locations:

• May 11 - Dartmouth Avenue and Tenth Street will be closed from 5:30am to 3pm
• May 11 - College Avenue and Sixth Street will be closed from 2pm to 4:30pm
• May 12 - College Avenue will be closed from 9am to 2:30pm

Parking and traffic around the Colleges and in the Village will be impacted by these activities, so please allow extra time and drive safely. The City of Claremont and Claremont Police Department would like to congratulate the Class of 2024!
