Kaptur Announces $1.7 Million USDOT Award for Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport Press ReleaseTradeJobs and the Economy

Toledo, Ohio - Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) announced that the US Department of Transportation (USDOT) has awarded $1,782,322 under the FY24 Airport Improvement Program (AIG) to the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority. This award will be utilized for the acquisition of two multi-tasking snow removal units at the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport (TOL). This funding, disbursed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), will significantly enhance the airport's ability to maintain clear and safe airfield operations during adverse weather conditions.
