A 37-year-old woman from Harvey, N.B., has died following a two-vehicle collision in Durham Bridge, N.B.

On August 24, 2024, at approximately 7 p.m., members of the Keswick RCMP detachment responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 148 in Durham Bridge. The driver of the first vehicle died at the scene as a result of her injuries. The passenger of the first vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The driver and three passengers of the second vehicle suffered various injuries.

The collision is believed to have occurred when the driver of the first car lost control of the vehicle, and swerved into oncoming traffic.

Members of the Nashwaak Valley Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist also attended the scene. A member of the New Brunswick Coroner's Office is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
