Minister Tajani in Milan for the Italy-Argentina business forum and for meetings with CONSOB and SACE

Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani will be in Milan tomorrow, Tuesday 25 June, to attend the event "Argentina: nuove opportunitĂ  nel settore energetico e della transizione produttiva" (Argentina: new opportunities in the energy and energy transition sectors). The Deputy Prime Minister will then attend CONSOB's annual meeting and the presentation of SACE's export report.

At the Business Forum, Tajani will speak together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic Diana Mondino in front of government and institutional representatives and more than 100 Argentine and Italian entrepreneurs. The event is part of the activities undertaken to relaunch relations with Latin America and Argentina, especially in the energy sector.

"Italy and Argentina have a deep historical and cultural bond, strengthened by the fact that Argentina is home to the largest community of Italians abroad, with over one million Italian citizens and about 20 million Italian descendants," Tajani commented, underlining the Italian Government's interest in the liberalisation policies implemented by Buenos Aires and in the prospects offered to Italian companies, especially in the energy sector.

Deputy Prime Minister Tajani will then attend the annual meeting of CONSOB, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Following this, Tajani will speak at the presentation event of SACE's "Doing Export 2024" Report, which explores the growth potential of Italian exports and the new opportunities available worldwide for Italian companies, which can count not only on the support of the Italian diplomatic network, but also on the innovative solutions offered by SACE.

"Since the beginning of my mandate I have wanted to launch a strong 'growth diplomacy' action, a strategy to promote export and internationalisation focusing on the needs of companies and territories," commented Tajani.
