During its July 16, 2024, meeting, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors authorized the reallocation of more than $2.2 million in funds from the county's share of the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. ARPA funds are intended to financially support the Loudoun community in recovering from the negative impacts of COVID-19. The money has been reallocated as follows:
The unspent funds are a combination of unallocated ARPA funds ($172,296) and reduced costs for the following: Linear Parks and Trails studies ($160,000), Housing Management software ($1.5 million) and transit marketing ($400,000).
