Route 2051 Brinton Road Bridge Inspection Activities this Week in Edgewood

Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge inspection activities on Route 2051 (Brinton Road) in Edgewood Borough, Allegheny County, will occur Thursday through Sunday, August 22-25 weather permitting.

Inspection activities on the bridge that carries Brinton Road over I-376 (Parkway East) will require single-lane restrictions according to the following schedule:

• Thursday, August 22 - Brinton Road in each direction between Dewey Street and McKelvey Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday, August 24-25 - Brinton Road in each direction between Dewey Street and McKelvey Road from 6 a.m. to noon.
• Saturday and Sunday, August 24-25 - I-376 in each direction beneath the Brinton Road overpass from 6 a.m. to noon.

Crews from the Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. and the Sofis Company, Inc. will conduct the inspection work.
