Change to Auto Pay and Saved Cards

Starting October 1st, the City of Elgin will be using a new payment provider for utility, license and citation payments. Saved credit and debit cards saved on portal.elginil.gov will need to be re-added to your account. If you're enrolled in credit card auto-pay, you will also need to re-enable this feature for your water billing account.

Go to "My Profile" to manage saved cards and auto-pay.For detailed instructions please visit: https://elginil.gov/433/Water-Billing-Information or please call 311 (847-931-6001) and a Citizen Advocate can walk you through these steps.Autopay using a checking or savings account are not impacted by this change.
