Arson Suspect Arrested for Setting Fire to Roxbury’s ‘The Squealing Pig’ Restaurant

At about 8:30 AM, on Saturday, June 29^th, 2024, Detectives assigned to the Boston Police Fire Investigation Unit arrested Prasidda Baruwal, 23, of Everett, on multiple offenses in relation to the burning of The Squealing Pig restaurant located in Roxbury.

Prasidda Baruwal is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court for the charges of Arson of a Commercial Building, Breaking & Entering in the Nighttime to Commit a Felony, and Destruction of Personal Property.
