Northeast Fall Cleanup

On Saturday, October 19, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the City of Roanoke's Solid Waste Management Division will host its first-ever Fall Cleanup for the Northeast quadrant, offering a convenient, free solution for large-scale disposal.

This cleanup event allows residents to toss out clutter, bulky items, and brush directly at the curb for collection-saving time and avoiding a trip to the landfill. Residents are encouraged to participate by setting items out before 7:00 AM on the day of the cleanup to ensure collection. Hazardous materials, such as liquid paint, motor oil, and gasoline, should not be placed curbside. For safe disposal of these items, residents can contact the Roanoke Valley Resource Authority at 540-857-5050.
