Abbe Ginnodo recently joined Bank of Hawai'i as senior vice president and controller. Under the direction of the bank's chief financial officer, she is responsible for overseeing all of Bank of Hawai'i's centralized finance and accounting functions, including computation and timely payment of all taxes and any leasehold and contractual obligations.
Ginnodo has more than 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, serving most recently as senior accountant and controller at Luther Burbank Savings in California, where she oversaw SEC and regulatory reporting, internal financial reporting, corporate tax, and corporate accounting.
Ginnodo earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and her Master of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation, both from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in California.
