National Fuel Gas Company Foundation Announces $100,000 in Grants to Community Nonprofits

The board of directors of the National Fuel Gas Company Foundation (Foundation), the charitable giving arm of National Fuel Gas Company (National Fuel), recently held its quarterly meeting and approved Foundation grants totaling $100,000.

According to David P. Bauer, Foundation President and President and CEO of National Fuel, funding that was approved supports important areas of need within our operating footprint.

Grant recipients include:

  • In Pennsylvania-
    • Tioga County Partnership for Community Health in support of relief efforts and to assist individuals and families impacted by the devastating flooding caused by Tropical Storm Debby on Aug. 9. This contribution will be made jointly with a matching gift from National Fuel subsidiary Seneca Resources Company, LLC.
  • In New York-
    • The Veterans One-stop Center to help improve quality of life for veterans through a wide range of essential services including homelessness prevention, mental health support, employment assistance and benefits advisement.
    • The John R. Oishei Children's Hospital Injury Prevention Program to provide community education and outreach about carbon monoxide and cold weather safety, including recognizing hypothermia, avoiding dangerous situations and preparing for cold weather.
