Melvin O. Shaw begins year as 138th ISBA president

The Iowa State Bar Association's newest president, Melvin O. Shaw, assumed responsibility for the more than 6,500-member association on June 25. The gavel was passed to him by outgoing President Ian Russell during the ISBA's 150th Celebration gala.

Shaw is a solo practitioner in Coralville and is the 138th president of the ISBA.
